Our values

Diversity

Each and every one of us has been made in the image of God yet none of us are the same.
We have been united in Christ and have been made one body of many parts. We value diversity of age, culture, tradition, ability, and experience within our church. We seek to welcome and include others as Christ has first welcomed us.

Embodied Faith

We believe faith in Jesus results in transformed lives. Our faith is not a dead faith but one that is lived out with generosity, joy and fun. We know that all Christians are equipped and enabled by the Holy Spirit to serve in our church and the wider community. Therefore, we actively seek the present-day work of the Holy Spirit, expecting Him to move in our midst, and welcoming Him to speak into our lives

God’s Word

The Bible is God’s living and active word to us that is just as relevant today as the day it was first revealed.
God reveals Himself and His Gospel to us through the Bible by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, to know God in a deep and rich way we prioritise reading and teaching the Bible. For it is through the reading, preaching and teaching of God’s word that we are equipped, enabled, and released to live out and proclaim the Gospel in every aspect of our lives

Prayer

We believe that prayer is fundamental to our lives and ministry. For it is in prayer that we speak to God, and bring our whole lives including our hopes, dreams, worries and struggles to God. In prayer we acknowledge our limitations, align ourselves to His will and ask God to act as only He can.

Story Telling

Everyone has a story to tell, and we want to hear it. We tell stories to share our lives and the astonishing way that God has been at work in them. Stories help us to build trust, live authentically, and share vulnerably as we seek to be disciples of Jesus. We are committed to listening carefully, respectfully, and compassionately to create a space of safety and belonging.
