Rev. Alastair Crouch
Alastair was born on the mainland and grew up in England and the East Coast of Australia. After spending a year in England after high school, Alastair studied Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering in Brisbane. Alastair and Kristy moved to Bunbury, Western Australia where Alastair worked as an Engineer. After five years of working, Alastair and Kristy, with their two boys, Reuben (8) and Alexander (6) moved to study at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Alastair has been ministering in Tasmania since 2019 and commenced his role at St Stephen’s in January 2021.
Alastair has a great love of people; he is always up for a chat. He loves to hear how God is working in people’s lives and talking to people about Jesus. Alastair loves to sail, build Lego, and slow cook BBQ meat. Alastair and Kristy enjoy relaxing together watching Netflix and as a family, we are always on the lookout for a new park or playground to explore.
Rev. Louise Priest
Louise has lived in Wynyard for most of her life except for a stint when she went to Hobart for Mothercraft Nurse training. Louise believes that life has taught her well as God directed her path.
From nursing she learnt compassion.
As a Girl Guide leader, she gained leadership skills.
As a support worker in supported employment she learnt tolerance and patience and how to encourage.(A dear friend always called her ‘Barnabus’)
Louise enjoys visiting and praying for and with people and has an active role in the healing ministry with OSL Healing Ministries. Louise’s family consists of 3 beautiful daughters; 2 great sons-in-law; 6 lovely grandchildren and 2 delightful great-grandchildren.
Louise is sure that the prayers of her late mother got her to where she is today. She gives thanks to God that He never let her go!
